Siemens wins order worth Rs 78 crore from PGCIL

Siemens has bagged an order worth around Rs 78 crore from Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL) to design, supply, install and commission 7 X 500MVA, 765/400/33kV, Phase Autotransformers at Bhuj in Gujarat.  The project will boost the power handling capacity of PGCIL and create safe, reliable transmission infrastructure in western India. The project also promotes environment protection as these Transformers will transmit power generated from renewable sources.
