GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare has resumed operations with effect from June 15, 2016 at its manufacturing facility at Nabha in Punjab following a wage settlement agreement with its striking workers. The company had suspended operations temporarily at factory from May 21 following disruptions by its workforce who were demanding hike in wages.

GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare is a subsidiary of GlaxoSmithKline plc of UK. GlaxoSmithkline Consumer Healthcare’s core business is manufacturing of health drinks under the brand Horlicks. It exports products to countries like Bangladesh, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Middle East, Fiji, Mauritius, Nepal, Bhutan and many more.
