Future & Option (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 4,10,601.86 crore on June 16 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 72,91,905.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 23,377.40 crore, Stock Futures Rs 30,522.24 crore and Index Options Rs 3,37,679.75 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 19,022.48 crore.
For the day, the total F&O PutCall ratio stood 0.87 while Index Options PutCall ratio was 0.89 and that of Stock Options was 0.57.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Indo Count Industries (1.70), Apollo Hospital (1.57), Hindalco (1.35), Container Corporation of India (1.23) and Indusind Bank (1.19).
Among most active underlying, State Bank of India witnessed an addition of 1.38 million of Open Interest in the June month futures contract, followed Maruti Suzuki India witnessing a contraction of 0.07 million of Open Interest in the June month contract; Tata Motors witnessed an contraction of 0.13 million of Open Interest in the June month contract, Tata Steel witnessed a contraction of 0.07 million of Open Interest in the June month contract and Yes Bank witnessed a contraction of 0.35 million units of Open Interest in the June month's future contract.
