Shree Cement surges on concluding grinding unit expansion in Bihar

Shree Cement is currently trading at Rs. 14020.30, up by 156.70 points or 1.13% from its previous closing of Rs. 13863.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 13796.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 14090.30 and Rs. 13796.20 respectively. So far 13917 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 14800.00 on 20-Jun-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 9350.00 on 15-Jan-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 14800.00 and Rs. 13379.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 48596.01 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 64.79%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 29.11% and 6.10% respectively.

Shree Cement has completed the expansion of grinding unit at Aurangabad in Bihar from 2.0 Million Tons Per Annum (MTPA) to 3.60 MTPA on June 22, 2016.

The company had recently commissioned Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) Blocks Project having capacity of 3 lakh cubic meter per annum at Sikandrabad, Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh (UP) on March 29, 2016.

Shree Cement is the leading cement manufacturing in North India. Its cement plants are located at Beawar, Ras, Khushkhera, Jobner and Suratgarh in Rajasthan and Laksar (Roorkee) in Uttarakhand.
