Orange has completed the acquisition of 100% of operations of Bharti Airtel’s arm in Burkina Faso through its subsidiaries.
Earlier in January this year, Orange had inked an agreement with Bharti Airtel International (Netherlands) BV, an arm of Bharti Airtel, for acquisition of Airtel’s operations in Burkina Faso and Sierra Leone.
Bharti Airtel is a leading integrated telecommunications company with operations in 20 countries across Asia and Africa. The company ranks amongst the top 5 mobile service providers globally in terms of subscribers.
