Vikas EcoTech advances on commencing construction of manufacturing plant at Dahej

Vikas EcoTech is currently trading at Rs. 13.63, up by 0.64 points or 4.93% from its previous closing of Rs. 12.99 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 13.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 13.63 and Rs. 13.49 respectively. So far 574491 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 23.90 on 23-Oct-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 6.35 on 02-Jul-2015.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 13.43 and Rs. 11.76 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 346.53 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.01%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.20% and 53.79% respectively.

Vikas EcoTech has commenced the construction of Phase I of its manufacturing plant and innovation center at Dahej, Gujarat. To be built with an investment of Rs 30 crore, the plant will produce 6,000 MT of organotin stabilisers (methyl tin mercaptide or MTM) and 5,000 MT of specialty polymer compounds annually. This is the company’s third manufacturing plant after Rajasthan and Jammu & Kashmir plants, the latter being currently integrated with the first to drive economies of scale.

Vikas EcoTech is engaged in the business of trading and distribution of petroleum and petrochemical products. The firm manufactures high-end products used in plastic, rubber, footwear and packaging industries.
