Physical Rubber prices witnessed improvement on Friday

Physical Rubber prices showed improvement on Friday reacting closely to the global gains. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety jumped to 141/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 140/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety climbed to 137/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 136/ kg.

In the futures market, contract of July delivery improved marginally to Rs 140.07 compared to its previous closing of Rs 140, while August delivery closed at Rs 138.20 compared to its previous close of Rs 138.51 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
