Coromandel International reports 49% fall in Q1 consolidated net profit

Coromandel International has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2016.

The company has reported 43.68% fall in its net profit at Rs 7.84 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2016 as compared to Rs 13.92 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The company’s total income decreased by 6.58% to Rs 2069.02 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 2214.72 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 49.19% fall in its net profit after taxes, minority interest and share of profit of associates and Joint Ventures at Rs 7.49 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2016 as compared to Rs 14.74 crore for the same quarter in the previous year .Total Income of the company decreased by 6.65% to Rs 2072.01 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 2219.71 crore for the same quarter ended June 30, 2015.
