Anjani Portland Cement to divest stake in Vennar Ceramics

Anjani Portland Cement has received an approval for the proposal to have partial dis-investment in equity of Vennar Ceramics, Hyderabad, which is at present a 100% subsidiary of the company. The board at its meeting held on March 31, 2012 has approved for the same.

Pursuant to this decision, the company shall become a minority shareholder with 49% of shareholding in Vennar Ceramics.

Anjani Portland Cement, formerly known as Anjani Cement, is engaged in the business of manufacturing of cement. The company’s products include OPC (Ordinary Portland Cement) 53 Grade, OPC (Ordinary Portland Cement) 43 Grade and PPC (Portland Pozzolana Cement).
