Physical Rubber prices witnessed some improvement on Thursday

Physical Rubber prices showed some improvement on Thursday. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety jumped to 143.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 143/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety climbed to 140.50/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 140/ kg.

In the futures market, contract of August delivery gained to Rs 142.16 compared to its previous closing of Rs 140.99, while September delivery closed at Rs 136.69 compared to its previous close of Rs 135.85 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
