Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals (MRPL) has reported results for the quarter and the year ended March 31, 2011.
The company’s net profit for the fourth quarter has zoomed 118.46% at Rs 552.86 crore as compared to Rs 253.07 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2010. Its total income has rose by 40.02% at Rs 12531.81 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 8950.10 crore in the corresponding previous quarter.
The company has registered a growth of 5.78% in its net profit for the year ended March 31, 2011 at Rs 1176.63 crore as compared to Rs 1112.38 crore for the year ended March 31, 2010. Its total income has increased by 20.16% at Rs 39192.30 crore for the year from Rs 32616.41 crore in previous year.
Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals has recommended dividend of Rs 1.20 per equity share on par value of Rs 10 per equity share and Rs 0.001 per preference share of Rs 10 each for the financial year ended March 31, 2011.
