Steel counters gain traction on buzz of anti-dumping duty on steel import

JSW Steel is currently trading at Rs. 1692.00, up by 16.90 points or 1.01 % from its previous closing of Rs. 1675.10 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 1691.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1713.00 and Rs. 1681.10 respectively. So far 55156 shares were traded on the counter. The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1762.00 on 27-Jul-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 827.10 on 04-Aug-2015.

Vedanta is currently trading at Rs 158.50, up by 2.25 points or 1.44% from its previous closing of Rs. 156.25 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 157.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 159.60 and Rs. 155.35 respectively. So far 1275317 shares were traded on the counter. The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 175.20 on 25-Jul-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 58.10 on 12-Feb-2016.

Bhushan Steel is currently trading at Rs 42.55, up by 1.25 points or 3.03% from its previous closing of Rs 41.30 on the BSE. Steel counters gained traction on the report that India is expected to impose an anti-dumping duty of up to $557 per tonne on imports of certain steel products from six countries, including China, Japan and Korea.
