Physical rubber prices ruled steady on Saturday. Spot prices for RSS-4 and RSS-5 variety closed unchanged at Rs 144 per kg and Rs 141 per kg respectively.
In the futures market, contract of August delivery improved to Rs 143.99 compared to its previous closing at Rs 142.94, while September delivery closed at Rs 137.52 compared to its previous closing of Rs 136.77 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
