Idea Cellular has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2016.
The company has registered 80.96% fall in its net profit after tax at Rs 160.41 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2016 as compared to Rs 842.61 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 7.17% at Rs 9500.72 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 8865.14 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015.
On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 74.22% fall in its net profit after tax at Rs 220.41 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2016 as compared to Rs 854.81 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total Income of the company increased by 7.22% to Rs 9552.45 crore for quarter under review from Rs 8909.08 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2015.
