Bharat Electronics bags order worth Rs 1,003 crore during Q1FY17

Bharat Electronics (BEL) has received Rs 1,003 crore worth of orders during first-quarter (Q1) of 2016-17. The orders bagged during Q1 are homeland security, navigational complex system and next generation main automatic exchange. The total order book of the company as on July 1, 2016 stood at Rs 32,139 crore.

The export order book as on July 01, 2016 stood at $103.72 million while export turnover during Q1 of 2016-17 stood at $17.13 million. The major supplies during Q1 of 2016-17 were 3D Tactical Control Radar, Akash Weapon system (Army), New Generation Hull Mounted Sonar, L 70 Gun Upgrade and Fire Control systems.

Bharat Electronics is a multi-product, multi-technology, multi-unit conglomerate with over 350 products in the areas of military communication, radars, naval systems, C4I systems, weapon systems, homeland security, telecom & broadcast systems, electronic warfare, tank electronics, electro-optics, professional electronic components and solar photovoltaic systems.
