With reference to the earlier letter dated April 01, 2016 and May 19, 2016 with respect to the Adjudication Order dated March 31, 2016 passed by Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and filing of appeal before Securities Appellate Tribunal against the said order respectively. Electrosteel Castings has now informed that pursuant to SEBI (Settlement of Administrative and Civil Proceedings) Regulations, 2014, the Company has on August 10, 2016 filed a consent application with SEBI in connection with the aforesaid SEBI Order. The consent application filed is neither admission nor denial of the findings of facts and conclusions of law as detailed/alleged in the aforesaid SEBI Order.
