FIIs stood as net buyers in equities as per August 16 data: NSDL

16 Aug 2016 Evaluate

The FIIs as per Tuesday’s data were net buyers in equity and debt segments both, according to data released by the NSDL.

In equity segment, the gross buying was of Rs 5769.30 crore against gross sell of Rs 4496.37 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 1272.93 crore in equities.

In the debt segment, the gross purchase was of Rs 1591.09 crore with gross sales of Rs 1183.31 crore. Thus, FIIs stood as net buyers of Rs 407.78 crore in debt.
