Bharti Airtel to shut digital IPTV services: Report

Bharti Airtel, a leading global telecommunications company, has reportedly decided to shut down its digital TV broadcast service IPTV from August 31, 2016. The company has sent notice to its customers stating it will close its IPTV services. 

Airtel IPTV keeps seven days of TV programmes recorded for the users, so they can enjoy their favourite shows whenever they want. It also comprises of pause and rewind live programmes, thus firmly puts the TV under users’ control.
