Info Edge (India) through its wholly-owned subsidiary has invested an amount of about Rs 17.30 crore by subscribing to optionally convertible cumulative redeemable preference shares of Canvera Digital Technologies (Canvera). This investment is part of a total fund raise of Rs 20 crore by Canvera with the balance Rs 2.70 crore having been contributed partly by existing investors as well as by new investors.
Accordingly, Info Edge’s total investment (at cost) would be Rs 107.40 crore (of which Rs 46.30 crore has been provisioned in December, 2015) and Info Edge’s holding in the company, on a fully converted and diluted basis, stands at about 57%.
