Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 4,83,159.82 crore on September 1 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 64,86,664.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 13,972.89 crore, Stock Futures Rs 41,988.59 crore and Index Options Rs 4,02,277.44 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 24,920.90 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.98, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 1.02 and that of Stock Options was 0.58.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were BHARATFORG (1.19), TATAMOTORS (1.17), GRASIM (1.16), ULTRACEMCO (1.07) and AXISBANK (1.02).
Among most active underlying Reliance Industries witnessed an addition of 2.43 million of Open Interest in the September month futures contract, followed Bharti Airtel witnessing an addition of 4.65 million of Open Interest in the September month contract, Axis Bank witnessed a contraction of 0.06 million of Open Interest in the September month contract, Idea Cellular witnessed an addition of 10.05 million of Open Interest in the September month contract and Reliance Communication witnessed an addition of 10.79 million units of Open Interest in the September month's future contract.
