IOC plans to expand its refining capacity to 150 MT by 2030

In order to meet fast expanding energy needs of the country, Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) is planning to nearly double its refining capacity to 150 million tonnes (MT) by 2030. The nation’s largest oil company will expand its refining capacity to 104.55 MT by 2022 and progressively scale it up to at least 150 MT by the year 2030. The company has capacity at refineries to produce 80.7 MT per annum of fuel currently.

IOC is the largest enterprise in the country and the foremost ranked Fortune Global 500 Company in India and has presence in the complete hydrocarbon value chain from downstream refining & marketing, pipeline transportation, Petrochemicals, E&P and Gas Marketing.
