HT Media has taken an initiative titled 'Hindustan Times - You Read They Learn'. This year-round programme, which would help in educating under-privileged children in Delhi-NCR, begins April 18, 2012.
Under this initiative, the company will set aside five paise every day for each copy of Hindustan Times-Metro edition sold in Delhi-NCR, for education of underprivileged children. To ensure that this initiative is duly accomplished, the company is partnering with reputed NGOs working in the field of primary education.
HT Media is engaged in print media, electronic media and also conducts several marketing events. The group's Hindi newspaper ‘Hindustan’ ranks as the third largest-read daily in the country.
