Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 3,33,376.56 crore on September 21 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 46,36,637.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 14,158.13 crore, Stock Futures Rs 33,598.33 crore and Index Options Rs 2,63,432.22 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 22,187.88 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.96, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 1.02 and that of Stock Options was 0.48.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were EICHERMOT (2.35), MRF (2.33), GODREJCP (1.18), GRASIM (1.16) and MARUTI (1.16).
Among most active underlying Yes Bank witnessed an contraction of 1.00 million of Open Interest in the September month futures contract, followed Maruti Suzuki India witnessing an contraction of 0.02 million of Open Interest in the September month contract, Tata Motors witnessed a contraction of 1.33 million of Open Interest in the September month contract, SBI witnessed an addition of 2.06 million of Open Interest in the September month contract and Tata Steel witnessed an addition of 0.54 million units of Open Interest in the September month's future contract.
