Bharat Financial Inclusion issues Commercial Paper worth Rs 100 crore

Bharat Financial Inclusion has issued Commercial Papers for an aggregate amount of Rs 100 crore on September 22, 2016, which have been rated ‘A1+’ by a leading rating agency. Instruments with the aforesaid rating are considered to have a very strong degree of safety regarding timely payment of financial obligations. Such instruments carry the lowest credit risk. The aggregate Commercial Papers outstanding as on date is Rs 450 crore.

Bharat Financial Inclusion (formerly known as SKS Microfinance) is a non-banking finance company (NBFC), regulated by the Reserve Bank of India. The company’s mission is to provide financial services to the poor under the premise that providing financial services to poor borrowers helps to alleviate poverty.
