Pfizer concludes sale of four products to Piramal Enterprises for Rs 110 crore

Pfizer has concluded the sale of its four products - Neko Soap, Sloans, Ferradol and Waterbury’s Compound for a total consideration of Rs 110 crore to Piramal Enterprises. The aforementioned products stand transferred to Piramal Enterprises effective from September 26, 2016. This step has been taken post completion of requisite formalities and receipt of necessary regulatory approvals for the transaction.

The company had earlier on May 13, 2016 entered into an agreement with Piramal Enterprises for sale of its four products subject to adjustments for inventory on closing and transaction costs.

Pfizer has produced innovative breakthroughs in a wide range of research areas, including depression, erectile dysfunction, high cholesterol, HIV infection, hypertension, bacterial infections and systemic fungal infections.
