ACC has received an approval for amalgamation of its wholly owned subsidiary (WOS) company - ACC Concrete with the company subject to necessary approvals being obtained. The board at its meeting held on April 19, 2012 has approved for the same.
Recently, ACC’s cement production in March 2012 had increased by 5.02% at 2.30 million tonne, as against 2.19 million tonne in the year-ago period. The company's dispatches in the month were up by 7.33% at 2.34 million tonne, as against 2.18 million tonne in same month last year.
ACC is India’s foremost manufacturer of cement and concrete. The company’s operations are spread throughout the country with 14 modern cement factories, more than 30 ready mix concrete plants, 20 sales offices, and several zonal offices.
