Physical Rubber prices witness weakness on Tuesday

Physical rubber prices showed some weakness on Tuesday on buyer resistance following the declines in domestic futures and global trendsetters. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to Rs 120/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 122/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety dropped to Rs 116/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 117.50/ kg.

In the futures market, contract of October delivery declined to Rs 117.38 compared to its previous closing of Rs 120.52, while November delivery closed at Rs 117.24 compared to its previous close of Rs 120.42 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
