Seamec surges on bagging contract worth $33.44 million from HAL

Seamec is currently trading at Rs. 85.00, up by 6.95 points or 8.90% from its previous closing of Rs. 78.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 85.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 85.85 and Rs. 84.50 respectively.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 127.00 on 03-Nov-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 64.25 on 31-Mar-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 88.65 and Rs. 77.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 288.49 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 72.87%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 0.64% and 26.48% respectively.

Seamec has entered into an agreement with HAL Offshore (HAL) on September 27, 2016 for deployment of vessel SEAMEC II along with provision of services of ROV, the contract commenced with effect from September 28, 2016. The total contract value for the period of 3 years will be approximately $33,441,300.

Seamec is engaged in the business of operating multi-support vessels for diving and for providing underwater/sub-sea engineering services, deep sea diving, and inspection of underwater structures, repairs and maintenance of offshore platform fire-fighting services and rescue operations.
