NMDC’s Bailadila iron ore mine-Bacheli Complex has bagged FIMI Golden Jubilee Award for Excellence. The Federation of Indian Mineral Industry (FIMI) has awarded the company’s flagship mine One Time Special Award.
The award was for having adopted best practices, improvement over the last 10 years, excellence in environment management, social awareness, health and safety and exemplary reclamation and rehabilitation efforts by Bailadila Iron Ore Mine, Bacheli Complex.
NMDC is a state-controlled mineral producer of the Government of India. It is fully owned by the Government of India and is under administrative control of the Ministry of Steel.
