Shreyas Shipping surges as its arm plans to divest 51% stake in SRS Freight Management

Shreyas Shipping & Logistics is currently trading at Rs. 297.00, up by 14.95 points or 5.30% from its previous closing of Rs. 282.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 293.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 308.00 and Rs. 293.00 respectively. So far 7,808 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 529.40 on 19-Oct-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 133.10 on 17-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 308.00 and Rs. 280.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 652.14 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 73.25%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 2.27% and 24.49% respectively.

Shreyas Shipping & Logistics’ wholly-owned subsidiary ‘Shreyas Relay Systems’ has decided to sell its stake of 51% in SRS Freight Management to BSL Freight Solutions.

Earlier in April, Shreyas Shipping & Logistics had added ninth container vessel 'MVSSL Visakhapatnam' to its fleet. This vessel was a 1613 tues vessel with a Gross Registered Tonnage (GRT) of 18602.

Shreyas Shipping and Logistics was formed primarily to own and operate vessels for feedering of containers between Indian Ports and Internationally renowned container transshipment ports.
