Bayer CropScience reports 2% rise in Q2 net profit

Bayer CropScience has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2016.

The company has reported 2.12% rise in its net profit at Rs 159.10 crore for Q2FY17 as compared to Rs 155.80 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 8.98% at Rs 1174.30 crore for the quarter under review as compared Rs 1077.50 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

Bayer CropScience is engaged in manufacturing and marketing of crop-protection solutions, and trades in seeds on behalf of group company Bayer Bioscience.
