Physical Rubber prices witness weakness on Wednesday

Physical rubber prices showed some weakness on Wednesday, in tune with the domestic and global sentiments. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety declined to Rs 117/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 118/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety dropped to Rs 111/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 113/ kg.

In the futures market, contract of November delivery weakened to Rs 117.71 compared to its previous closing of Rs 119.44, while December delivery closed at Rs 119.39 compared to its previous close of Rs 121.21 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
