Inox Wind, one of the country’s top wind energy solutions providers, has bagged repeat order for 50 MW wind power project from ReNew Power Ventures, India’s leading clean energy company. ReNew has issued a repeat order to Inox for a 50 MW wind power project to be executed in the state of Gujarat. This is a turnkey project and is scheduled to be commissioned by March 2017. The 50 MW order from ReNew Power is part of the 350 MW of orders announced by Inox Wind on October 03, 2016.
As part of the order, Inox will supply and install 25 units of its advanced 2MW DFIG 113 rotor dia Wind Turbine Generators (WTGs) for Renew Power. Inox Wind’s 113 meter rotor dia WTG is the newest variant of the company’s market leading 2 MW platform.
Inox Wind offers its clients total wind power solutions including wind resource assessment, acquiring land, developing the entire site infrastructure, building the power evacuation system, supplying the WTGs, erection and commissioning services, long term operations and maintenance services as well as post-commissioning support.
