In order to fund its growth plans, Sundaram BNP Paribas Home Finance, a joint venture (JV) between Sundaram Finance and BNP Paribas of France, is planning to raise about Rs 1,750 crore during the second half of this fiscal.
Around 65% of the proposed amount will be raised through debentures and short-term market borrowings. Deposit base had crossed Rs 1,000 crore last year and remains an integral part of the funding mix.
Sundaram Finance is one of the oldest and largest providers of finance for the acquisition of commercial vehicles of all makes. The commercial vehicle finance provided by it helps the small operators to acquire vehicles with minimum hassle and documentation.
