United Breweries has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2016.
The company has reported 48.09% fall in its net profit of Rs 27.05 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 52.11 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 2.05% at Rs 2202.03 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 2157.90 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
United Breweries is maker of Kingfisher beer and Heineken beer in India. Its flagship brand 'Kingfisher' is currently available in 52 countries and leads the way amongst Indian beers in the International market.
