Lupin reports 58% rise in Q2 consolidated net profit

Lupin has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2016.

The company has reported 34.30% rise in its net profit at Rs 653.08 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 486.30 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 14.28% at Rs 2970.23 crore for the quarter under review as compared Rs 2599.02 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 57.76% rise in its net profit after tax and minority interest at Rs 662.19 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016 as compared to Rs 419.75 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total Income of the company has increased by 27.46% to Rs 4317.62 crore for quarter under review from Rs 3387.49 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015.
