Adhunik Metaliks climbs on plans to divest stake in Neepz V Forge (India)

Adhunik Metaliks is currently trading at Rs. 45.50, up by 2.10 points or 4.84% from its previous closing of Rs. 43.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 43.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 45.50 and Rs. 43.90 respectively. So far 4,664 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 91.40 on 29-Apr-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 31.25 on 20-Dec-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 46.70 and Rs. 43.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 561.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.60% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 13.95% and 28.45% respectively.

Adhunik Metaliks has received an approval to sell its entire investment in one of its subsidiaries, Neepz V Forge (India). The board at its meeting held on April 25, 2012 has approved for the same.

Recently, the company had entered into a share purchase agreement for sale of its investment in one of its subsidiaries, Adhunik Power Transmission.

Adhunik Metaliks is the flagship company of the Kolkata-based Adhunik Group of Industries and is engaged in manufacturing of wide range of special steels used for different applications in the fields of automobile, construction and engineering.
