Britannia plans to launch new products in bakery segment

Britannia Industries is planning to bring in new products, especially in the bakery segment, to fill gaps in its portfolio. The company is looking at diversification and first diversification is going to be within the bakery area in certain segments as cereal bar and croissant, in next 9 to 10 months.

Britannia Industries, one of the India’s biggest brands of the country, has a market share of over 33%. More-than-a-century old Britannia has launched big brands in FMCG Segment. The company is expanding its customer base by launching new products and renovating existing ones.
