Videocon Industries slips on reporting a net loss of Rs 381.93 crore in Q3 net profit

Videocon Industries is currently trading at Rs. 103.30, down by 0.75 points or 0.72% from its previous closing of Rs. 104.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 101.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 104.20 and Rs. 100.10 respectively. So far 5808 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 143.10 on 26-Nov-2015 and a 52 week low of Rs. 95.00 on 09-Nov-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 106.80 and Rs. 95.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3478.37 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 66.01%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.54% and 10.85% respectively.

Videocon Industries has reported a net loss of Rs 381.93 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2016, as against net profit Rs 7.57 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 17.36% at Rs 2720.40 crore for the quarter under review as compared Rs 3291.70 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
