Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 4,55,723.07 crore on November 16 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 66,65,369.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 20,691.63 crore, Stock Futures Rs 39,827.97 crore and Index Options Rs 3,64,023.29 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 31,180.19 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.78, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.81 and that of Stock Options was 0.51.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were JSW Steel (1), UBL (0.90), Cummins India (0.89), Oil India (0.82) and BPCL (0.81).
Among most active underlying State Bank of India witnessed a contraction of 0.94 million of Open Interest in the November month futures contract, followed Yes Bank witnessing a contraction of 0.10 million of Open Interest in the November month contract, ICICI Bank witnessed a contraction of 1.01 million of Open Interest in the November month contract, Tata Motors witnessed a contraction of 1.07 million of Open Interest in the November month contract and Vedanta witnessed a contraction of 1.19 million units of Open Interest in the November month's future contract.
