Physical Rubber prices witness improvement on Wednesday

Physical Rubber prices showed improvement on Wednesday, tracking the sharp gains in the international markets. Spot prices for RSS-4 variety jumped to 122/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 121/ kg; while the RSS-5 variety climbed to 119/ kg compared to its previous closing of Rs 117/ kg.

In the futures market, contract of December delivery improved to Rs 129.38 compared to its previous closing of Rs 126.62, while January delivery closed at Rs 131.90 compared to its previous close of Rs 129.07 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
