Rohit Ferro-Tech registers an increase of 14% in its net profit of Q4

Rohit Ferro-Tech has announced the results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2011.

The company’s net profit for the quarter ended March 31, 2011 increased 14% to Rs 16.18 crore as compared to Rs 14.24 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2010. Its net sales / income from operations for the quarter under review stood at Rs 321.86 crore as compared to Rs 207.56 crore for the same quarter of the previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2011, the company’s net profit jumped 36% to Rs 44.02 crore as compared to Rs 32.47 crore for the year ended March 31, 2010. The company has reported net sales / income from operations of Rs 1145.80 crore for the year ended March 31, 2011 as compared to Rs 812.26 crore for the year ended March 31, 2010.

Rohit Ferro-Tech was promoted with the intention to set up a Ferro Alloy Plant. The company has carved a niche for itself as a leading producer of High Carbon Ferro Chrome. The company has also got ISO 9001:2000 certifications assuring high standard quality adherence for its products.
