According to the data released by NSE, the Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) were net buyers of Rs 49.37 crore in futures and options segments on Saturday, April 28, 2012.
FIIs were buyers of index futures to the tune of Rs 14.51 crore and they bought index options worth Rs 30.63 crore. In the stock segment, FII’s were net buyers of stock futures worth Rs 4.23 crore, while there was no activity in stock options.
Cumulative FII positions as percentage of total gross market position in the derivative segment as on April 28, 2012 is 31.69%.
