Alstom T&D India wins substation contract worth Rs 84 crore from CSPTCL

Alstom T&D India has been awarded a contract worth Rs 84 crore from Chhattisgarh State Power Transmission Company (CSPTCL) for the erection, testing and commissioning of a 400 kV substation at Jagdalpur in the state of Chhattisgarh, Central India.

Under the terms of the contract, the company will provide three-phase auto transformers and shunt reactors as well as the entire substation automation system and associated equipment including diameters, feeder bays.

Following significant industrial development in recent years, the state of Chhattisgarh is one of the major power hubs in India. This latest substation project will support industrial expansion in the state by enhancing the power transmission network.

Alstom T&D India is a leading player in the Power Transmission and Distribution business upto Extra High Voltage levels (765 kV) and is prepared to meet the demands for equipments and services even at Ultra High Voltage levels (1200 kV).
