NMDC has reported 20.09 million tonnes (MT) of iron ore production and logged sales volume of 22.59 MT up to the month of November 2016. The company’s Chhattisgarh mines produced 12.41 MT of iron ore and registered sales volume of 13.98 MT, while Karnataka mines produced 7.68 MT of iron ore and sold 8.61 MT of iron ore up to November 2016.
NMDC is a state-controlled mineral producer of the Government of India. It is fully owned by the Government of India and is under administrative control of the Ministry of Steel.
