LT Foods zooms on entering into JVA with Future Consumer, Genoa Rice Mills

LT Foods is currently trading at Rs. 280.35, up by 13.35 points or 5.00% from its previous closing of Rs. 267.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 275.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 296.25 and Rs. 275.30 respectively. So far 36736 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 319.20 on 20-Jul-2016 and a 52 week low of Rs. 180.00 on 12-Feb-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 296.25 and Rs. 264.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 749.24 crore.

LT Foods has entered into a Joint Venture Agreement (JVA) with Future Consumer and Genoa Rice Mills for undertaking the business of manufacturing, marketing, sales, sourcing and distribution of regional South Indian rice ‘Sona Masoori’ as per the terms and conditions agreed under the said Joint Venture Agreement.

LT Foods is one of the country’s leading processor and exporter of packaged rice foods under the flagship brand “Daawat”. The brand is among the top players in the domestic branded Basmati Rice markets.
