Bharti Airtel reports 14.34% fall in Q4 net profit

Bharti Airtel has reported results for fourth quarter ended March 31, 2012

The Company has posted a fall of 14.34% in its net profit at Rs 1574.30 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 1837.90 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.  However total income has increased by 10.78% at Rs 10943.50 crore for quarter under review as compared Rs 9878.40 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011

On the consolidated basis, the company has posted a fall of 28.19% in its net profit at Rs 1005.90 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 1400.70 crore for the same quarter in the previous year.   However total income has increased by 14.93% at Rs 18738.80 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 16304.20 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011

For the full year ended March 31, 2012, the company has posted a fall of 25.74% in its net profit at Rs 5730.00 crore for the year ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 7716.90 crore for the same period in the previous year. However total income has increased by 10.15% at Rs 42228.50 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 38338.90 crore for the period ended March 31, 2011.

On the consolidated basis, the company has posted a fall of 29.56% in its net profit at Rs 4259.40 crore for the year ended March 31, 2012 as compared to Rs 6046.70 crore for the same period in the previous year. Total income has increased by 19.97% at Rs 71505.80 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 59601.80 crore for the period ended March 31, 2011.
