Torrent Pharmaceuticals has received US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) approval for Alfuzosin hydrochloride extended release tablets.
The tablets used in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia, are generic version of Uroxatral sold by Sanofi. The tablets had annual sales of about $250 million in the US.
