Physical rubber prices ruled steady on Monday, followed by a weak closing in domestic futures and global trendsetters. Spot prices for RSS-4 and RSS-5 variety closed unchanged at Rs 138/ kg and Rs 131/ kg respectively.
In the futures market, January delivery dropped to Rs 139.69 compared to its previous closing of Rs 142.80, while February delivery closed at Rs 142.81 compared to its previous close of Rs 145.80 on the National Multi Commodity Exchange (NMCE).
