Cement major, ACC’s cement production in April 2012 has increased by 5.33% at 2.17 million tonne, as against 2.06 million tonne in the year-ago period. The company's dispatches in the month were up by 0.97% at 2.07 million tonne, as against 2.05 million tonne in same month last year.
On cumulative basis, for the January-April period this year, its production increased 7.12% at 8.87 million tonne as against 8.28 million tonne in the year-ago, while its dispatches for the same period surged 6.28% at 8.79 million tonne as against 8.27 million tonne in the corresponding period.
